What is GHCCGH and who can join?
GHCCGH – the Chamber of Health Care Consumers, Ghana – is open to all Ghanaian citizens and residents. Any individual, group, or institution concerned about healthcare quality and consumer rights is welcome to become a member.
How do I report a case of medical negligence?
You can report medical negligence directly to GHCCGH via our contact form or email. Our medico-legal team will review your case and guide you through the appropriate channels, including the Medical and Dental Council of Ghana and HeFRA.
Can GHCCGH help with unpaid or disputed medical bills?
Yes. Members can receive financial assistance guidance for medical bills not covered by NHIA. Contact our support team with your documentation and we will assess how best to assist you.
Is GHCCGH affiliated with the government?
GHCCGH is an independent body corporate registered under Ghanaian law. While we work collaboratively with the Ministry of Health, NHIA, and HeFRA, we operate independently to ensure impartial advocacy on behalf of health consumers.
